Description
Sorrento is the daughter of one of the top hunter producing sires of all time Rio Grande and out of a hanoverian approved mare by Mehmets Queen. She is a nice big mare with a very nice jump, auto changes and won many hacks. She has had a very successful performance career on the A circuit hunters. As a five year old she was zone champion and competed in the Pre Green (3'3) working hunters with Erynn Ballard. As a six year old she moved on to the Open/Regular Working Hunters (3'6-4') with both Erynn Ballard. In 2009 after having a couple of foals Sorrento returned to the hunter ring with an adult rider and was also shown successfully in the regular working hunters with a professional. In 2011 Sorrento has been shown at the national level in dressage. She has had numerous wins with some very high scores. Sorrento will be bred in 2012.
